Happy New Year! We have finally made it to 2021. The start of a new year gives us a chance to reflect on the past, as well as gives us hope and ambition for the new year. On a personal note, my company like so many other small businesses, imploded last year. Having young kids at home full-time made any opportunity of pivoting a frustrating non-start. Looking back, I can find the positives like spending quality time with my husband and two sons, learning to appreciate the little everyday things I had taken for granted, and getting to know my community better by starting this newsletter. I hope you are all able to reflect and find your positives in 2020.
Looking forward, I have decided that in order to best serve our readers, I am moving this weekly newsletter to every other week. While there is definitely enough content for a weekly newsletter, we can deliver you a better product with more time in between. We are excited to cover and share all this rapid growth with you in 2021. Just since the last newsletter Indian Land has welcomed a new nail salon and butcher shop. Read about them below. Cheers to 2021!
