Four restaurants coming soon + local introduces her build-your-own bouquet flower cart
Indian Land lost a staple business this month. The Carolina Country Store closed its doors for good on May 1st citing that their land was sold. The store updated their marquee to say simply, “20 Years, Thank You.”
Not surprisingly, land sales and their asking prices have increased in our area. The Herald did a great job breaking down big land sales in the area. See their recent article in our Talking Points section.
With all the growth, we are excited to announce the addition of four new restaurants coming soon. The first one set to open is Prime Fish on May 22. Read our article below. We also have a feature on the new woman-owned business, Gather Flower Studio. You might have seen owner Jessica Paroda and her pop-up flower cart around town at Rendezbrew. Get to know her and her offerings in our second feature below.
Lastly, we couldn’t send out the newsletter today without a small mention of gas. The Colonial Pipeline resumed operations two days ago. Judging by the lines and traffic we had over the last few days, it looks like everyone in the area now has a full tank. I will join the voices in saying don’t panic, more gas is coming soon.
We hope you enjoy what is looking to be a beautiful weekend!
