Since our last newsletter, we have gained two new wing spots! Check out Chex Grill & Wings (10092 Charlotte Hwy Suite 103) which is open now, and Wing King Cafe ( 8356 Charlotte Hwy) is opening soon. Developers are quickly filling the void of medical offices in Indian Land. A 60,000-square-foot medical office is coming to Indian Land - in addition to two other medical office developments - The Link and The Arches.

Lancaster County Administrator spoke on plans for growth: Lancaster 2040 [Williams/PMG]. No one can deny the growth in Lancaster County over the past few decades. As people flock to South Carolina, communities like Indian Land struggle to meet the needs of a growing population. Enter Lancaster 2040, a long-term project to address land use and transportation planning in the county.
Costco plans at The Exchange at Indian Land move forward [Marks/The Herald]. Lancaster County Council moved forward on Monday with a zoning plan and other changes related to the Costco project in Indian Land. There’s one vote down and two remaining on the zoning change.
Major manufacturing company moving to Indian Land [Speaks/Queen City News]. Lancaster County is the third-fastest-growing county in South Carolina. Officials expect it to continue to grow very soon, with a new manufacturing company planting its roots in the county. Snider Fleet Solutions announced it would consolidate its operations in Greensboro, N.C., and invest $6.9 million to bring 167 jobs to Indian Land.
