Who is Untap Indian Land?

Untap Indian Land was founded by Casey Wilson, a local entrepreneur who moved to Indian Land 7 years ago with her husband Frank and two boys. Wilson worked as the Director of Marketing and Audience Development for Charlotte magazine for 7 years before starting her event planning and marketing company, Carben Events + Marketing in 2017. She graduated from UNC at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s in Communications Arts and a minor in Journalism.

With a global pandemic and fewer events to plan, Wilson decided to finally start the newsletter she has been thinking about for the last 2 years. Untap Indian Land is a passion project to feel more connected to her community.
