In other news, the record $588 million bond has officially passed the school board. For Indian Land the bond included funds for a new high school and elementary school on the land that was purchased earlier this year in the northern part of the county. Also included is a new turf field for Indian Land Middle, a new track and field restroom at Indian Land High School, and additional metal detectors.
