Super Chix Chicken & Custard is now open in RedStone! The fast-casual restaurant opened on Monday but its grand opening will be this Saturday (1/28). They will celebrate by giving the first 100 guests a free sandwich and fries.
The Dallas-based chicken sandwich franchise is owend by Todd Justice of Best Tasting Chix, LLC. Justice and his COO Mauricio Romero have big plans to open 25 locations in South Carolina within the next 7 years. He shared that he chose Indian Land as the first location because the area was a good fit for the franchise.
“I fell in love with the cool industrial concept, then I fell in love with the food,” said Justice. “It didn’t look like your typical fast-casual restaurant.”
Super Chix is cook-to-order claiming it might take longer, but it’s worth it. The menu features chicken sandwiches ranging from what they call The Simple to Bacavo Ranch, Cordon Bleu, and The Super Parm. Also featured are hand-breaded or grilled chicken salads, hand-cut fries, and fried pickles. The restaurant also features kid meals like chicken sliders, chicken tenders, or grilled cheese.
Super Chix is known for its frozen custards that are churned fresh in-house throughout the day. “I’m pleasantly surprised at the amount of custard that has been sold,” Justice said.
This will be Super Chix’s 21st location across the U.S., and its second location in the Carolinas. There is also a location in Fort Mill. Catering and third-party food delivery services are in the works and will be available soon.
