Shop local with The Hunter Farm at their Holiday Market

This Saturday, December 5th, The Hunter Farm will be hosting its first Holiday Market. The farm, which is located off Providence Rd. in Weddington, N.C., has had a tree lot and offered wagon rides for the holidays for over 20 years.
“We have been discussing how we wanted to adapt the business and expand our offerings this year with COVID-19,” said Becca Anderson who is the Director of Operations at The Hunter Farm. Her family owns the farm which was built in 1868. “The root of our business is to create a community and shared experiences and we hope to accomplish that with an outdoor market.”
The market will feature over 20 local vendors and artisans selling handmade products including clothing, jewelry, home goods, and more. The market will also feature a few food trucks.
“This year highlights the need to support these small businesses in our community,” said Anderson. “We encourage everyone to get to know where your stuff comes from, and to shop with intentionally.”
The Holiday Market will be open from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
