New dentist office opens in Indian Land

Residents of Indian Land and surrounding now have another option the next time they need to see a dentist.
Palmetto Advanced Dentistry is a new dental care facility offering general, restorative, and cosmetic dental services. This will be the first practice for Dr. Albert Primavera who opened for business earlier this month.
Born in New York, raised in Florida, and educated in Kentucky, Dr. Primavera had a lot of choices of where to open his office. “The quality of life in Indian Land, along with affordability and the expansion opportunities for small and large businesses made it an easy choice,” said Primavera. “It seemed like a good place for growth and to raise a family.” Dr. Primavera and his wife Katie share a daughter Kailey and have one on the way.
Palmetto Advanced Dentistry is starting small with a staff of three, but plan to grow to a staff of eight. Primavera describes his practice as being “community-centric”. “We look at patients more as friends, and as part of our dentist family,” he said. “There are a lot of corporate dentists out there. We want to make people feel comfortable and to have a good experience. We want to be immersed here, it’s not just a place to come work.”
The brand-new office is just under 3,000 square feet and features six treatment rooms, a comfy waiting room, and a complimentary coffee and beverage bar.
The office is fully-digital and includes ceiling-mounted TVs.
Primavera attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. The school is recognized as one of the nation’s best dental schools, with a reputation for innovation in oral health education. Upon graduation, Primavera was awarded the prestigious Implant Award by the Academy of Osseointegration.

General Dentistry: Dental exams, cleanings, and x-rays.
Cosmetic Dentistry: Composite fillings, porcelain crowns, porcelain fixed bridges, porcelain veneers, and teeth whitening.
Periodontal Disease: Diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance.
Restorations: Composite fillings, crowns, dental implants, dentures, fixed bridges, and root canal therapy.
