Indian Land gets its first yoga studio

Dream Yoga and Wellness will open in RedStone this May. This will be Indian Land’s first dedicated yoga studio.
Waxhaw residents Doug and Caroline Middleton say yoga is just the beginning of what their new studio, Dream Yoga and Wellness will offer. Their goal is to create a wellness retreat prioritizing mental and physical health.
Doug played football for Appalachian State before joining the NFL in 2016. He began practicing yoga to increase his flexibility in the game and quickly fell in love with it. “Yoga became a great resource for me, both for the physical and mental health benefits,” Doug shares.
Caroline is a board-certified Occupational Therapist who will be assisting with the operations. Caroline is also an athlete having played varsity softball for Appalachian State for all four years.
“We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health,” says Doug. “We are excited to be the first yoga studio in Indian Land and to bring this resource to the community.”
YOGA
Dream Yoga and Wellness will be membership-based offering tiers from unlimited to single-class drop-ins. Signature yoga class offerings include hot power yoga, deep stretch yoga, strength classes, kid’s yoga, yoga for athletes, and meditation.
The studio will have 12 instructors offering classes for ages 13 and up seven days a week, five times a day Monday - Friday. The weekend schedule will offer four classes a day. Kids’ yoga will be free for Dream Wellness members’ kids.
WELLNESS
Wellness services will include behavioral health, youth therapy, family/couples’ therapy, trauma-focused therapy, sports psychology, and two infrared medical saunas. Four therapists will run their practices out of the studio.
The studio will also have supervised childcare available. Founding Memberships will be available starting March 1st. See membership pricing below.
