Indian Land

Halloween Happenings at The Commons. October 31st from 12 - 2 p.m. at Bridgemill Commons. Expect goody bags, balloon animals, face painting, and a pet costume contest.

Lore Brewing’s Stranger Things Halloween Celebration. October 31st from 12 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Stranger Things ‘80s themed celebration. They will also be celebrating the release of Demo-gourd-on, their pumpkin spiced imperial saison. From 4-7 p.m., they will have individual goody bags of candy for the kids and will be offering $10 crowlers.

Halloween Party at Siggy’s. October 31st starting at 6 p.m. at Siggy’s Bar & Tapas. Their first annual Halloween party will include a costume party, live music, craft cocktails, and prizes.

Halloween Spooktacular Magic Show. October 30th at 8 p.m. at The Magic Canvas with Joseph Daniels of The Dark Cabaret and friends. Tickets are $25.

Halloween Treat Bags at Del Webb Library. Halloween treat bags will be given out with fall Take and Make kits from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Del Webb Library parking lot.

Ballantyne

“Boo” at The Ballantyne. October 30 - 31st from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m at The Ballantyne Hotel. The hotel will host a full day of events including a Trick or Tea Afternoon Tea, cookie decorating, and pumpkin carving class. costume parade, and drive-in movie screening of Hocus Pocus.

Halloween Party at Zinicola. November 1st at 6 p.m. The event will include a costume party, dancing, and games.

Day of the Dead. November 1st from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Free. Cabo Fish Taco in Ballantyne is calling all artists for a Sugar Skull Competition. The first 25 to take home a sugar skull, paint/decorate it and bring it back by October 30th will be entered into the competition.

Art class for adults at Virtuoso School of Music and Art. October 31st from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $40/person and include all art supplies needed snacks and drinks. Must reserve a spot in advance.

Lancaster

Glow Halloween Party. October 30th from 6-8 p.m. at Jumpin Jax Fun Center. Limited availability, must buy tickets in advance. Tickets are $20 and include the costume party, slice of pizza and drink.

Kids Halloween Fest at Jumpin Jax Fun Center. October 31st. Two sessions available, 12 -2 p.m. and 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance and include access to the fun center, games, prizes, and cookie painting.

Boo Fun Fest. October 31st from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy a drive thru trick-or-treat in the school district’s parking lot.

Waxhaw

Drive-In Movie: Nightmare Before Christmas. October 30th from 7-9 p.m.
Location: Forest Hill Church. Cost: $10/carload.

DreamChaser’s Brewery Halloween Haunt-The Pirate’s Revenge. October 31th from 12 - 11 p.m. Dress up like a pirate.

Trunk or Treat at Waxhaw UMC. October 31st from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Waxhaw UMC. Registration is required.

Weddington

Drive-Thru Trunk & Treat at Weddington United Methodist Church. October 31st from 4-6 p.m.

Country Days Corn Maze. Now through November 7. Fridays from 5-10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Sundays from 2 - 8 p.m. The location includes a corn maze and farm activities. Prices vary.
